The UNT CMAA is a
student organization that offers a source of education,
networking, and professional development to students
interested in the club industry. Any student enrolled in the
Hotel/Restaurant Management degree program is eligible to
apply. The UNT CMAA works closely with the CMAA to provide
the education and training needed in the club industry.
The Eagle Student Chapter
holds monthly meetings to provide education from guest
speakers and Club Managers to students about various aspects
of the industry. As well as discuss opportunities for
students to network, plan trips and tours, and present ideas
for future events. The chapter also participates in many
fundraising activities throughout the year. Fundraisers at
the Texas Motor Speedway are quickly becoming a tradition,
along with holding a wine auction at the annual fall meeting
for the Lone Star Chapter. The students take club tours
twice a semester at various country and business clubs from
around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Ice breakers are held at
the beginning of each semester as an opportunity for
everyone to get to know each other better. It is a fun and
relaxing time that everyone enjoys.
