UNT Preview Day Combines with SMHM Pre-Game  Party

High school students from across the region, state, and nation traveled to Denton on October 31, 2009 to learn about the exciting academic programs offered at UNT.  Dr. Christy Crutsinger, Associate Dean and Professor in Merchandising, and Dr. Richard Tas, Professor in Hospitality Management, highlighted the competitive advantages of the School of Merchandising & Hospitality Management in their presentation to prospective students and their parents.   According to Crutsinger, "Our current SMHM  students are our best assets and create a distinct marketing advantage when talking with high school juniors and seniors."  Prior to the UNT football game, representatives from the seven SMHM organizations were on hand to discuss academic expectations, dorm life, career opportunities, and cool campus traditions, while enjoying food and fun under the SMHM tent at McConnell Hall.
