Las Vegas offers something for everyone - entertainment, gaming, shopping, food, and for two UNT graduates, unlimited career opportunities.  Michael Pistana (B.S. 93) and his wife, Andrea Bresler Pistana (B.S. 94), have enjoyed successful careers in the gaming industry and currently claim Vegas as their home away from home.  No doubt, this pair understands the importance of taking risks and being geographical mobile when opportunity calls. 

Michael began his career working at the world famous, Golden Nugget in Vegas, moving through various managerial positions before securing a position with their sister property, the Beau Rivage, located in Biloxi, Mississippi.  Subsequent positions would lead him back to Vegas working once again for the Golden Nugget as the Assistant Director for Sales and later as Executive Director of Leisure Sales for the first-class property, the Bellagio.  Most recently, Michael serves as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.

Andrea's path to success has been equally challenging and exciting working in various managerial positions for the Mirage in Vegas and the Beau Rivage in Biloxi, alongside Michael.  Until 2007, Andrea worked for the MGM Mirage as the Graphic Arts Coordinator.  Andrea's professional career is currently on hold while she is raising their two children Ryan (8) and Olivia (3).  Without question, these UNT graduates have skillfully played their hand by understanding the balance between risk and reward in the dynamic gaming industry.
