Hospitality Management Career Expo 2008

 The Hospitality Management Career Expo was held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 on the UNT campus in the Gateway Ballroom.  This year, we had a record number of hospitality companies attending the event.  Thirty-seven hospitality companies participated in the career expo to share information on their companies, as well as employment opportunities to approximately 200 hospitality management majors.  The companies in attendance were Marriott International, Four Seasons Resort &Club, Gaylord Texan, Hilton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, John Q. Hammons Hotels, Kimpton Hotels, Lodging Host Hotel Corp, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, Vail Cascade Resort & Spa, Applebee’s, Brinker International, Cheddar’s Casual Cafe, Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp, Hal Smith Restaurant Group, Luby’s, Mac’s Steak & Seafood, Nordstrom Restaurant/Special Coffee Division, Potbelly, Raising Cain’s, Starbucks Coffee Co., AAFES, Ben E. Keith, Club Corp, Culinaire, Dallas Country Club, Freeman, Glazer’s, Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau, Main Event Entertainment, Radiant Systems, Sodexho, and Winegardner & Hammons Hotel.  Several companies stayed after the Expo to interview students for internships and other employment opportunities.
