Executive-in-Residence Lecture Series, Douglas H. Brooks, Brinker International
The Ben E. Keith Lectureship Endowment supports the Executive-in-Residence Lecture series. This lecture series brings distinguished professionals to campus to speak to students about current hospitality management trends. On October 31, 2006, Douglas H. Brooks, Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer, Brinker International spoke to over 300 students in the Gateway Center Ballroom. Doug earned his B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1975 and joined Chili’s in 1978 as manager of the company’s original location on Greenville Avenue in Dallas.
