Berkeley Stone never dreamed she would have her work accepted for publication in a merchandising textbook even before she graduated from the University of North Texas. That changed when Dr. Dee K. Knight challenged Berkeley and other students in her Advanced Merchandising Applications capstone course to write an original case study. Dr. Knight offered students the opportunity to submit their cases for possible publication in a new edition of a case study textbook to be published by Fairchild Publications and edited by Nancy J. Rabolt and Judy K. Miler.

It was just the kind of challenge Berkeley likes. She submitted a well-written case, and Dr. Knight assisted her in preparing it for possible publication. After review and one minor revision, the case was accepted and will be included in the textbook in 2008. Congratulations Berkeley!
