Teacher Certification
The School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management, in collaboration with the College of Education, offers the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in hospitality management leading to certification in Family and Consumer Sciences (grades 8-12) and Hospitality, Nutrition, and Food Science (grades 8-12).
The degree/teacher certification plan is the official document outlining the student’s course of study. The student is responsible for initiating the degree/teacher certification plan process and should do so as soon as possible after being formally enrolled at the university. Advising should be sought in the College of Education, Student Advising Office (Matthews Hall 105).
